Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist - Operating Room
Location: Lebanon, NH
Shift: Days, 6.45a-5.15p
Duration: 13 weeks
Job Summary:
As a Certified Surgical Technologist working in the Operating Room, you will be responsible for assisting surgeons during surgical procedures, ensuring that the operating room is properly set up and sterile, and helping with patient care before, during, and after surgery. You will be a crucial part of the surgical team, helping to ensure that procedures run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assisting surgeons during surgical procedures by passing instruments, sutures, and other supplies
- Setting up and maintaining sterile field in the operating room
- Preparing patients for surgery, including transporting them to the operating room and assisting with positioning
- Monitoring patients during surgery and assisting with patient care as needed
- Keeping accurate records of surgical procedures and supplies used
- Maintaining a clean and organized operating room environment
Qualifications and Skills:
- BLS (AHA)
- NBSTSA
- NH Med Tech
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures
