Job Title: RN - Med Surg/Telemetry
Location: Lima, OH
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Nights (36 guaranteed)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg/Telemetry team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This position requires excellent clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care
- Monitoring vital signs and telemetry data to ensure patient safety
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Educating patients and their families on their condition and treatment plan
- Documenting patient care accurately and in a timely manner
- Adhering to hospital policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of employment
- 1+ Years of Experience - Required
- BLS (AHA) & ACLS (AHA) - Required
- NIHSS - Required
- Must float to all units within skill level - Required
