Job Title: Radiation Therapist
Location: Maumee, OH
Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Days (40 guaranteed)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team in delivering radiation therapy treatments to patients in a clinical setting. The Radiation Therapist will work closely with a team of oncologists and medical professionals to provide accurate and effective radiation therapy treatments for cancer patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the oncologist
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment
- Educate and support patients throughout the treatment process
- Monitor patient reactions to treatment and report any side effects to the oncologist
- Ensure proper safety protocols are followed during treatments
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field
- ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
- State licensure as a Radiation Therapist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
