Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med Surg team. The RN Med Surg will be responsible for providing quality patient care in a fast-paced and challenging environment, focusing on the care of medical surgical patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans
- Administering medications and treatments
- Monitoring patient vital signs and symptoms
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Educating patients and their families on their medical conditions and treatment plans
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures
- Providing emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical surgical setting
- BLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize patient care
- Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients
