Job Title: CT Tech
Location: Batesville, AR
Shift: 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM 36 hours guaranteed
Duration: 13 weeks
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CT Tech to join our medical imaging team. The CT Tech will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures using computerized tomography equipment. This individual will work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely imaging services to patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform CT scans in accordance with department protocols and physician orders
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during scans
- Operate and maintain CT equipment
- Monitor and evaluate image quality to ensure accurate diagnostic information
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and communicate scan results
- Maintain patient records and update imaging reports in the electronic medical record system
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations during imaging procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in radiologic technology or related field
- ARRT certification in CT technology
- Current state licensure as a radiologic technologist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy in imaging procedures
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and practices
- Experience with PACS and EMR systems preferred
