Job Title: ICU - Neonatal Nurse
Location: Robbinsdale, MN
Shift: Rotating 12 Hour Days & Nights - 36 Hour Guarantee
Duration: 16 Weeks
Job Summary:
The ICU - Neonatal Nurse is responsible for providing specialized care to critically ill newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). They monitor vital signs, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcome for their young patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing and monitoring the health status of neonatal patients
- Implementing and adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Administering medications and providing supportive care
- Educating and supporting families on neonatal care practices
- Collaborating with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
- Responding to emergencies and providing life-saving interventions
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license
- Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or NICU setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
