Job Title: Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) in Long-Term Care (LTC)
Location: Lebanon, NH
Shift: 8hr evenings 2.45p-11.15p 40hr guarantee
Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Summary:
As an LNA in LTC, you will be responsible for providing essential care and assistance to residents in long-term care facilities. You will work under the supervision of registered nurses and licensed practical nurses to ensure the physical, emotional, and social well-being of residents.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting
- Monitor residents' health status and report any changes to the nursing staff
- Help residents engage in social activities and maintain a sense of independence
- Take vital signs and record residents' health data accurately
- Follow care plans and communicate effectively with the nursing team and other staff members
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and their families
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid LNA license in the state of employment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR certification
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassion and empathy for residents and their families
- Physical stamina to lift and move residents as needed
- Attention to detail and ability to follow directions accurately
