Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical
Location: Berlin, NH
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (36 guaranteed)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse with experience in Medical Surgical nursing to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver optimal outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educating patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans
- Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
- Monitoring and reporting changes in patient's condition
- Responding to medical emergencies and providing appropriate interventions
- Following hospital policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and confidentiality
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Medical Surgical nursing
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
