Job Title: Echo Tech
Location: Waterloo, IA
Shift: Days: 8 hr shifts, AM start
Duration: 13 weeks

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Echo Tech to join our healthcare team. The Echo Tech will be responsible for performing echocardiographic examinations to diagnose heart conditions and assist physicians in providing quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of echocardiography techniques and equipment, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Perform echocardiographic examinations following established protocols

- Assist physicians in interpreting ultrasound images and providing accurate diagnoses

- Maintain and operate echocardiography equipment

- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures

- Document and communicate test results effectively with healthcare team

- Keep accurate patient records and maintain confidentiality

- Participate in quality control and assurance activities to ensure accurate test results

Qualifications and Skills:

- Associate's degree or certification in ultrasound technology

- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification preferred

- Strong knowledge of echocardiography techniques and equipment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care

- Willingness to stay current with advances in echocardiography technology and techniques
