Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our medical team. The Ultrasound Technologist will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound equipment, and will collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and efficient patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams according to protocol and physician orders
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of exams performed
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to interpret results and provide accurate diagnoses
- Assist with the development and implementation of ultrasound protocols
- Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure proper functioning
- Stay current on advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- ARDMS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of ultrasound equipment and techniques
