Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Sterile Processing Tech to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, and organizing medical equipment and instruments to ensure the safety and well-being of patients and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Decontaminate, clean, sterilize, and package medical instruments and equipment
- Ensure proper handling and storage of sterile supplies
- Follow sterilization protocols and standards to prevent infection and promote patient safety
- Monitor and maintain equipment used in sterilization processes
- Assist in inventory management of sterile supplies
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to meet the needs of patients
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or GED
- Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CRCST)
- At least 1-3 years of experience in sterile processing
- Knowledge of infection control practices and regulations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
