Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a variety of healthcare settings. They work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to deliver personalized treatment plans and promote overall wellness.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assessing and monitoring patient health status
2. Developing and implementing patient care plans
3. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
4. Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
5. Educating patients and families on health management
6. Performing diagnostic tests and procedures
7. Documenting patient care and progress
8. Providing emotional support to patients and families
9. Participating in quality improvement initiatives
10. Adhering to legal and ethical standards in nursing practice
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active RN license in the state of practice
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of medical equipment and procedures
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
