Job Title: Special Procedures Technician
Location: Bay City, MI
Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Special Procedures Technician to join our team. The Special Procedures Technician will be responsible for assisting healthcare professionals in performing various specialized medical procedures. This position requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist healthcare professionals in setting up and preparing equipment for specialized medical procedures
- Ensure the comfort and safety of patients during procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs and communicate any changes to healthcare team
- Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information
- Sterilize and maintain equipment used in procedures
- Provide support to healthcare team as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification or licensure as a Special Procedures Technician (preferred)
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
