Job Title: RN Critical Care Float
Location: Pittsfield, MA
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Nights
Duration: 13weeks
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our critical care float pool team. The RN Critical Care Float will provide exceptional care for patients in the critical care units, including ICU, CCU, and ED, while floating between these units as needed.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide quality nursing care to critically ill patients in various units
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions and report any changes to the attending physician
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Assist with procedures and emergency interventions as necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care in electronic medical records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in critical care nursing
- Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and work effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
