Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Shift: Days 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Job Summary:
As a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), you will be responsible for assisting surgeons during surgical procedures by preparing and organizing surgical equipment, ensuring a sterile field, and anticipating the needs of the surgical team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety and the success of surgical procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare operating room for surgical procedures by sterilizing equipment, ensuring a sterile field, and organizing surgical instruments
- Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments, sponges, and other supplies as needed
- Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and other team members during surgery
- Maintain a sterile environment throughout the procedure and adhere to infection control protocols
- Assist with patient positioning and prepping before surgery and with wound care and dressing after surgery
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST)
- Knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move heavy objects
