Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our medical/surgical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This role requires strong clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing patient conditions and developing appropriate care plans
- Monitoring patient vital signs and administering medications
- Collaborating with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Providing patient education and support throughout the treatment process
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical/surgical nursing
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Active MA license required
