Job Title: Respiratory Therapist
Location: Pittsfield, MA
Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Duration: 13 weeks
Job Summary:
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for helping patients with respiratory conditions breathe easier and improve their quality of life. You will assess patients' respiratory conditions, develop treatment plans, and provide respiratory care services in a variety of healthcare settings.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conducting patient assessments to determine their respiratory conditions
- Developing and implementing treatment plans to help patients breathe more effectively
- Administering medications and breathing treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitoring patients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Educating patients and their families on how to manage respiratory conditions at home
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Licensed Respiratory Therapist (LRT) in the state of practice
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills
- Experience working with patients with respiratory conditions is preferred
