Job Title: Endoscopy Technician
Shift: Days (10am-6:30pm) | 40 hours per week
Duration: 13 weeks

Job Summary:
The Endoscopy Technician plays a crucial role in assisting medical professionals during endoscopic procedures to diagnose and treat various medical conditions. This individual is responsible for preparing and maintaining endoscopy equipment, ensuring patient comfort and safety during procedures, and providing support to the medical team.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Prepare and set up endoscopy equipment for procedures.
2. Assist medical professionals in performing endoscopic exams.
3. Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
4. Clean and sterilize equipment after each use.
5. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
6. Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures.
7. Provide support to the medical team as needed.
8. Assist with patient education and post-procedure care.
9. Adhere to all infection control protocols and safety standards.
10. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Certified Endoscopy Technician (CET) credential preferred.
3. Previous experience working in a healthcare setting.
4. Knowledge of endoscopy equipment and procedures.
5. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
8. Basic understanding of medical terminology.
9. CPR certification required.
10. Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as needed.
