Job Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room
Shift: Days (7AM-7PM)
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: Concord, MA
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. As a crucial member of the surgical team, the Registered Nurse must exhibit excellent critical thinking skills, compassionate care, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures
- Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery
- Administer medications and anesthesia as needed
- Educate patients and their families on post-operative care
- Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of surgical equipment
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
