Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Medical Assistant (Nursing) to join our team. The successful candidate will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist with clinical procedures such as wound care, injections, and EKGs
- Perform basic diagnostic tests and record patient vitals
- Administer medications as directed by the healthcare provider
- Assist with patient education and counseling
- Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation
- Coordinate appointments and follow-up care for patients
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a medical assistant program or equivalent experience
- Current CPR certification
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
