Job Title: Cardiovascular Radiologic Technician
Shift: Day | 40 hours per week
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: Beverly, MA
Job Summary:
The Cardiovascular Radiologic Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures specific to the cardiovascular system in order to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of heart and blood vessel conditions. This individual will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Perform cardiac catheterization procedures under the direction of a physician.
2. Operate imaging equipment such as x-ray machines, CT scanners, and MRI machines to obtain images of the heart and blood vessels.
3. Monitor patients during procedures and ensure their safety and comfort.
4. Assist physicians in interpreting imaging results and making treatment decisions.
5. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
6. Follow proper protocol for patient preparation and procedure documentation.
7. Keep imaging equipment clean and in good working condition.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Associate's degree in radiologic technology or a related field.
2. Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography.
3. Prior experience working in a cardiovascular imaging department preferred.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
