Job Summary:

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist nurses with patient intake procedures
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments
- Administer medications under the supervision of a nurse
- Perform basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs and blood pressure
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of medical information
- Provide emotional support and assistance to patients and their families
- Follow established protocols and guidelines for patient care
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a certified Medical Assistant program
- Current certification as a Medical Assistant
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Experience working in a healthcare setting is preferred
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
