Job Title: Physical Therapist
Shift: 8/10 hours Varied
Location: Espanola, NM
Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Summary:
The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients to help improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities. Utilizing various techniques and exercises, the Physical Therapist will work closely with patients to create personalized treatment plans and monitor progress.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct initial evaluations to assess patient needs and develop treatment plans
2. Administer therapeutic exercises and manual therapy to improve mobility and strength
3. Educate patients on proper techniques for performing exercises and activities
4. Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
5. Communicate with healthcare team members to coordinate care for patients
6. Keep detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans
7. Stay current on advancements in physical therapy techniques and technologies
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy
2. State licensure as a Physical Therapist
3. CPR certification
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics
7. Experience working with patients of all ages and physical abilities
