Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Shift: Day Shift, Mon-Thurs(8am-5pm) Fri(8am-1pm)
Location: Abilene, TX
Duration: 08 Weeks
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team. The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs, according to physician orders
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols and guidelines
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
- Evaluate images to ensure quality and accuracy
- Maintain patient records and confidentiality
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
- ARRT certification
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
