Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in Abilene, TX. The Surgical Technologist will assist surgeons and other medical professionals in the operating room, ensuring that all equipment is sterile and ready for use. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare operating room for surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons during surgeries by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain sterile field throughout procedures
- Monitor and replenish surgical supplies and equipment
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Collaborate with surgical team to provide optimal patient care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist
- 1+ year of experience in a surgical setting
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
