Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist - Operating Room
Shift: Day (7AM-7PM)

Job Summary:
The Certified Surgical Technologist - Operating Room (OR) is responsible for assisting the surgical team before, during, and after surgical procedures. This individual must have a thorough understanding of surgical instruments, equipment, and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of patients in the OR.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare the OR for surgical procedures by ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are available
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, holding retractors, and maintaining the sterile field
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and proactively assist as needed
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the OR before, during, and after procedures
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to prevent the spread of infection and maintain a safe environment
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) required
- Previous experience working in an OR setting preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures
