Job Title: Medical Assistant
Shift: Afternoon (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) | 36 hours per week
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: Saginaw, MI
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Medical Assistant will work alongside healthcare professionals to provide valuable support to patients and ensure the smooth operation of the medical facility.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Greet patients and escort them to examination rooms
- Record patient information and vital signs
- Assist healthcare providers with medical procedures
- Prepare and administer medications as directed
- Schedule appointments and maintain patient records
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medications
- Perform basic laboratory tests and sterilize medical equipment
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program
- Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
