Job Title: CT Technologist
Shift: Nights (4:00 PM - 12:00 AM) | 40 hours per week
Location: Sault St. Marie MI
Duration: 13 weeks
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team and provide high-quality imaging services using computerized tomography (CT) scanners. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing detailed diagnostic images of patients' internal structures to help physicians accurately diagnose and treat medical conditions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Operate CT scanners to create cross-sectional images of patients' bodies
- Follow protocols to ensure patient safety and produce high-quality images
- Communicate with patients to explain procedures and ensure their comfort during scans
- Assist radiologists in interpreting images and reporting findings
- Maintain equipment and perform quality control checks to ensure proper functioning
- Keep accurate records of procedures and patient information
- Adhere to all safety and privacy regulations
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in radiologic technology or a related field
- ARRT certification in computed tomography (CT)
- State licensure as a radiologic technologist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Ability to follow protocols and maintain patient confidentiality
