Job Title: Medical Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and organized Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for conducting basic clinical and administrative tasks to support healthcare providers in delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and treatments
- Take and record vital signs
- Prepare and maintain examination and treatment rooms
- Perform basic medical procedures such as blood draws and injections
- Schedule appointments and follow-up visits for patients
- Manage patient records and update electronic health records
- Provide patient education and support as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the medical office
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a medical assistant certification program
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures
- Experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred
