Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in healthcare settings. You will work under the supervision of nurses and medical staff to assist with daily activities and provide emotional support to patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist patients with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to medical staff
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Help patients with mobility and assist with physical therapy exercises
- Keep patient rooms clean and organized
- Follow all medical protocols and maintain patient confidentiality
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
- Current certification as a CNA
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassion and patience when working with patients
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
