Job Title: CNA Med Surg
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Med Surg team. The CNA will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assisting patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff
- Turning and repositioning patients to prevent bedsores
- Assisting with medical procedures as directed by the healthcare team
- Ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients
- Providing emotional support to patients and their families
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
- Current CNA certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Compassionate and patient-centered care approach
