Job Title: RN Med Surg
Job Summary:
The RN Med Surg will be responsible for providing compassionate and quality care to patients in the medical-surgical unit. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. The RN Med Surg will also be responsible for administering medications, maintaining accurate medical records, and educating patients and their families on health management.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing and monitoring patient conditions
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborating with healthcare team members to create individualized care plans
- Educating patients and families on health management
- Maintaining accurate medical records
- Responding to emergencies and providing immediate care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical-surgical setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
