Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LVN/LPN will be responsible for providing patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff
- Assist with patient assessments and charting
- Provide basic patient care, such as bathing, feeding, and assisting with mobility
- Ensure patient comfort and safety at all times
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create individualized care plans for patients
- Educate patients and their families on their conditions and treatment plans
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current LVN/LPN license in the state of practice
- CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
- Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and medical terminology
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
