Job Title: CT Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team and perform diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) equipment. The CT Technologist will work closely with radiologists and other medical professionals to obtain high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining the procedure and ensuring their comfort and safety
- Operate CT equipment to capture images of internal organs and tissues
- Ensure accuracy and quality of images by following protocols and adjusting imaging parameters as necessary
- Monitor patients during scans and alert medical staff to any complications or changes in condition
- Maintain equipment and supplies, and adhere to safety standards and protocols
- Assist with patient scheduling and maintaining accurate records of procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology
- Certification in CT imaging
- Prior experience as a CT Technologist preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Understanding of patient care and medical ethics
