Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to join our team. The Radiologic Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging examinations on patients to help diagnose various medical conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical imaging technology and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs
- Position patients correctly for imaging and ensure their safety during procedures
- Operate imaging equipment and adjust settings to produce quality images
- Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate diagnoses
- Maintain patient records and follow proper protocols for image storage and retrieval
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and report any malfunctions or issues
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
- ARRT certification and state licensure required
- Strong knowledge of medical imaging technology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and a commitment to patient care
