Job Title: CNA Acute
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our acute care team. The CNA will provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians in a fast-paced hospital setting. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients during their hospital stay.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Collect specimens for testing and assist with medical procedures
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the nursing staff
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- CNA certification from an accredited program
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Prior experience in acute care settings is preferred
