Job title: Ultrasound Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations for patients, using ultrasound equipment to diagnose medical conditions. The Ultrasound Technologist will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely results.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform ultrasound examinations on patients with a variety of medical conditions
- Analyze and interpret ultrasound images to assist in diagnosis
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure patient confidentiality
- Assist in the preparation of patients for ultrasound examinations
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
- Stay current on new technology and advancements in the field of ultrasound technology
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- ARDMS certification required
- Strong understanding of ultrasound equipment and technology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
