Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our medical team. The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for operating imaging equipment to perform diagnostic examinations on patients. This role requires a high level of technical proficiency and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs
- Position patients correctly to obtain clear images
- Monitor patients during procedures and ensure their safety
- Follow protocols to ensure accurate and high-quality images
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate diagnoses
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree or higher in radiologic technology
- ARRT certification
- State licensure in radiologic technology
- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols
