Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. The Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound procedures to assist in the diagnosis of medical conditions. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of ultrasound technology and be able to produce high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform ultrasound procedures according to physician orders
- Prepare and position patients for imaging
- Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment
- Evaluate images for quality and clarity
- Communicate findings to healthcare providers
- Maintain patient records and confidentiality
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- ARDMS certification in Ultrasound
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
- Strong knowledge of ultrasound technology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
