Job Title: Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic team in providing high-quality care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating imaging equipment to capture images of the heart and blood vessels during catheterization procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare patients for cath lab procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety
- Operate fluoroscopy equipment to capture real-time images of the heart and blood vessels
- Assist the physician during procedures by providing necessary imaging support
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions during and after procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and equipment logs
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control measures
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- ARRT certification in Radiography
- Valid state license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist
- BLS certification
- Prior experience in a Cath Lab setting is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient care
