Job Title: RN-Med-surg Adult
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our medical-surgical adult unit. The ideal candidate will provide quality care to adult patients requiring medical and surgical interventions. The RN-Med-surg Adult will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and provide compassionate patient-centered care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the medical-surgical adult unit
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient vital signs and condition, and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Educate patients and their families on their care plan and post-discharge instructions
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in medical-surgical adult nursing
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in electronic medical record documentation
