Job Title: CT Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team and provide high-quality imaging services to our patients. The CT Technologist will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images of patients' internal organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and medical staff.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic images of patients
- Position patients correctly and ensure their safety during imaging procedures
- Review images for quality and ensure all necessary information is captured
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure accurate diagnosis
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize radiation exposure
- Keep equipment clean and well-maintained
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
- Certification in CT imaging
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
