Job Title: Mammography Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mammography Technologist to join our team. The Mammography Technologist will be responsible for conducting mammography screenings and diagnostic examinations to help in the early detection of breast cancer. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mammography procedures and techniques, as well as a compassionate and patient-centric approach to care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform mammography screenings and diagnostic exams
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret results
- Maintain and operate mammography equipment
- Provide education and support to patients regarding mammography procedures and results
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current certification in mammography
- ARRT certification
- State licensure as a mammography technologist
- Knowledge of mammography procedures and equipment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient-centric approach to care
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
