Job title: CT Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team. The CT Technologist will be responsible for operating computerized tomography (CT) equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for medical purposes. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform CT scans according to established protocols and procedures
- Position patients correctly and ensure their safety during scans
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions to contrast materials
- Evaluate images for quality and accuracy
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- ARRT certification in CT required
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
