Job Title: RN-Psych
Job Summary:
As an RN-Psych, you will be responsible for providing nursing care and support to patients experiencing mental health issues. You will work closely with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and effective treatment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patients for changes in mental health status
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure integrated care
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (preferred)
- Experience working in a psychiatric setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
