Job Title: CNA Acute
Job Summary:
As a CNA Acute, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care in a hospital setting. You will work under the supervision of registered nurses to assist with various medical procedures and ensure the comfort and well-being of patients during their stay.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assisting nurses with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and feeding patients
- Monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff
- Helping patients with mobility and positioning
- Assisting with medical procedures and treatments as needed
- Documenting patient information and keeping accurate records
- Providing emotional support to patients and their families
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients
- Following all hospital policies and procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
- High school diploma or GED
- Acute care experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate and caring attitude
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
