Job Title: Registered Cardiac Sonographer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Cardiac Sonographer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing cardiac ultrasound procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions. This role requires a thorough understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology, as well as proficiency in operating and interpreting ultrasound equipment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform echocardiograms and/or vascular ultrasound procedures in accordance with department protocols and industry standards
- Obtain and record patient medical history and vital signs
- Analyze ultrasound images and provide detailed reports to supervising physicians
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Assist with quality control and maintenance of ultrasound equipment
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- ARDMS or CCI certification in Cardiac Sonography
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiac ultrasound imaging
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
