Job Title: Operating Room Circulator
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Circulator to join our surgical team. The Operating Room Circulator is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of patients before, during, and after surgery. This individual will work closely with the surgical team to provide optimal patient care and maintain a sterile operating room environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare operating room for surgical procedures
- Assist with patient positioning and prepping
- Monitor patient vitals during surgery
- Pass instruments and supplies to surgical team
- Maintain sterile field throughout procedure
- Communicate effectively with surgical team members
- Assist with post-operative care as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating room/circulating role
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and instruments
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
