Job title: CT Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team. The primary responsibility of the CT Technologist is to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using computerized tomography (CT) equipment to produce detailed images of patients’ internal organs and tissues. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CT technology and procedures, as well as excellent communication and patient care skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Operate CT equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures
- Position patients correctly for imaging and ensure their comfort and safety
- Follow protocols to protect patients and personnel from unnecessary radiation exposure
- Produce high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists
- Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures and patient information
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating imaging appointments
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certification in CT technology from an accredited program
- Valid ARRT certification in CT
- State licensure as a radiologic technologist
- Strong understanding of CT technology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient care
