Job Title: Speech Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist to join our team and provide rehabilitation services to individuals with communication disorders or difficulties. The Speech Therapist will work with patients of all ages to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders to help them improve their communication skills and overall quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conducting evaluations to assess the needs and abilities of patients
- Developing individualized treatment plans to help patients reach their communication goals
- Providing therapy sessions to improve speech, language, and swallowing abilities
- Monitoring and documenting patients' progress throughout the treatment process
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Educating patients and their families on strategies to support communication skills at home
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience working with individuals with diverse communication needs
